The 21st Annual 2022 Chicago Dragon Boat Race for Literacy returned to Ping Tom Memorial Park on June 25th! 30 dragon boat teams competed on the south branch of the Chicago River in beautifully decorated dragon boats, each consisting of up to 21 members: 20 paddlers and 1 drummer. The 20 paddlers row to the beat of the drummer to the finish line.

This year, Team PV Dragon Boat joined forces with our friends at CBCAC and Miss Chinese Chicago (MCC) contestants to compete with the semi-pros in the Phoenix Bracket!

The Dragonaires are improving every year!
